WOW CINEMA
India's stage for all Indian stories — original films, series and social dramas that don't look away.
Stories worth the spotlight
WOW Cinema is an Indian OTT platform built around one idea: cinema should confront real life, not just entertain past it. The platform brings together original films, social dramas, and television co-productions that speak directly to Indian audiences — sharp, unfiltered, and rooted in the issues people actually live with.
Founded and led by Prabhat R Raj, a working film producer and director, WOW Cinema operates as both a production house and a streaming home for its own originals — commissioning, producing, and distributing content across digital and broadcast partners, including Delhi Doordarshan.
The platform's catalogue is built for viewers who want cinema with a point of view: social drama, crime and justice stories, and issue-led filmmaking delivered with production values that hold up against any major streaming service.
The person behind the platform

Prabhat R Raj
Prabhat R Raj is a film producer and director, and the Owner & CEO of WOW Cinema. He built the platform to give socially driven Indian cinema — the kind of storytelling that doesn't always find room on mainstream channels — a dedicated home, both on OTT and through broadcast partnerships.
His latest work, "Insaniyat Ke Dushman," is a 26-episode web series written and directed by Prabhat Raj for the WAVES OTT Platform (Delhi Doordarshan), produced by Sudha Cine Movies — continuing his focus on stories that hold a mirror to society.

Built for stories with a spine
Producer-Led Originals
Every title carries the direct involvement of a working producer-director, not a licensing catalogue — content made on purpose, for this platform.
Broadcast + OTT Reach
Co-productions with partners like Delhi Doordarshan mean WOW Cinema originals reach both streaming audiences and television households.
Social-First Storytelling
The catalogue leans into social drama and issue-led filmmaking — cinema that reflects the country back at itself, honestly.
